When Do Classes Start?
Unlike traditional bike mechanic schools, Bike Teacher offers flexible scheduling. There are no set start dates—classes begin and end at your convenience.
For example:
The 40-hour and 70-hour courses can be scheduled in consecutive 8-hour sessions (Monday–Friday) or spread out over multiple days to fit your schedule.
We offer small, intimate class instruction with small class sizes, ensuring a personalized, hands-on learning experience. Classes can have 1 to 4 students at any time.
What Do I Need to Bring to Class?
We provide all the tools and equipment you need! However, you are welcome to:
Bring your own bicycle to practice on.
Bring any tools you normally ride with so you can learn how to use them more effectively.
Use the gloves, aprons, and safety gear we provide during class.
Can I Bring My Bike?
Yes! We highly encourage you to bring your own bicycle so you can become more familiar with it. During class, you’ll be able to:
Perform repairs and adjustments on your own bike.
Gain hands-on experience troubleshooting common issues.
If something breaks during the learning process, we have plenty of replacement parts to ensure your bike is fixed before the session ends.

What’s the Difference Between the 40-Hour and 70-Hour Classes?
Both classes follow the Park Tool curriculum, but the 70-hour course provides additional training.
In the 70-hour course, you will cover multiple variations of:
Headsets
Cranksets
Brake systems
If you prefer, extra time can be spent reinforcing key skills, such as:
Derailleur adjustments
Hydraulic brake systems
General repair techniques
The 40-hour class covers core skills but may not include as many variations of bike components.
Do You Also Perform Bicycle Repairs?
Yes! If you need bike repairs but don’t want to fix it yourself, simply drop your bike off, and we’ll take care of it.
